"I particularly like the way in which each chapter serves as a a story within itself without ever losing the thread of the story. An incredibly charming, authentic and beautifully written book and I know it will be one that I return to again. Can't recommend highly enough." DS, via amazon
"I loved this beatifully written story, told through the eyes of young Beth Ann between the ages of 4 and 9. The snapshots of rural life in the 1970s in small town America reminded me strongly of Garrison Keillor's Lake Woebegone Days." jodirilot, via amazon--This text refers to the paperback edition.
