I had read a Jake Lassiter book previously and wasn't terribly impressed, but I liked 'To Speak For The Dead'. I'd rate this story with 4.5 stars
'Motion to Kill' was also an interesting tale with great twists and turns. My only problem with this one was my perception that the author doesn't seem to care for women who are not young or are over 5% body fat...it was off-putting. As far as legal thrillers go though, it was enjoyable. I would rate this with 4 stars.
My favorite story was the last one, 'The Walk'. I started reading and couldn't put it down until I'd finished. The author, Lee Goldberg, skillfully crafted a wonderful story that had the power to make me laugh out loud one minute and yet tear up the next. The juxtaposition of humor, horror, and humanity was melded into an amazing work. I will definitely be searching out more books by this author. This story is definitely a sold five stars.

All three stories in this book were very good. Written well, the characters were likable and the topics realistic enough to be believed.Published 11 days ago by M. Anderson

Had a fun time reading all three novels. Paul Levine started off slowly but soon caught on. The other two worked for me from the start as fun, light reading.Published on January 6, 2014 by Howard
