have been impressed with the work they have accomplished. In fact, so impressed that for the past three years I have arranged to
have shipmates from Submarine Duty in the 1960's meet in Mobile for a week each spring. We spend the mornings doing the same
work we used to do 47 years ago and then spend the afternoons and weekends giving tours. This book should be a "How To" manual for anybody who wants to help maintain history and should be on every Submarine Sailor's bookshelf. Diesel Boats Forever!

I would suggest that they contact a local ham radio club, to see if some of the folk there would like to restore the radios to working order. www.arrl.org would know who the clubs are and/ or the battleship might already have a group.
