Long time followers of Ms. Booth’s work will find this book a special treat as it begins the integration of her Calm Act/Feral America series with the Thrive stories. For those who have never read her works, they will find it to be an excellent place to be introduced to her wonderful imagination and storytelling prowess. It provides enough background on both of those series to understand what has previously happened while furnishing a non-stop adrenaline rush of action on a down-the-rabbit-hole twisted earth which will still seem eerily familiar.
