Erin shares her honest story with the struggles of breast cancer. She tells of the reactions of her friends and family, and she proves time and time again that her reliance on God is crucial in life, especially during that season.

Although I cannot relate to the situation personally, I am certain everyone knows of someone who has gone through a similar health issue, whether it is cancer or another disease, and this story is so helpful in the healing process. Erin's story is a must-read!

I wish there were 10 stars for this book! I'm not kidding. For the editor's eye, there may be a few typos but the heart behind the message shines much brighter. Through Waters Deep is a story of hope and survival. If you have been through breast cancer or know someone who is or has, this book is a must read. It will enlighten, encourage, and empower anyone going through cancer or any painful life circumstance. If you buy 1, go ahead and buy 10. You will want extras to give away.

This is a fantastic book in which Erin walks us through a very trying time in her life as she battled with breast cancer. She gives us a very candid look into her life as she discusses the struggles, frustrations, and disappointments. However, she also was able to find humor in this very difficult situation, and sprinkles just the right amount of laughter throughout. One of the things I loved most about Erin, and this book, is that she shows that in any difficult situation, it is ok to laugh, cry, be angry, and just feel the emotion of the situation. This is a very inspirational book as Erin always found her faith in the Lord! This book promises to give you hope, and renew your own faith when the waters get deep!

I loved reading this book about Erin's journey through the battle of breast cancer. She shared very openly about her emotions, hopes, and fears. This is a great book for anyone who is currently going through the same journey or someone who has a loved one going through it.

Erin Shafer is a friend. Her willingness and courage to share her story with us is a breath of fresh air.
Through this journey God has not only healed Erin physically, but He also showed her He wanted more for her...Jesus wanted to make her whole. Erin's journey from darkness to light is a must read for anyone battling breast cancer or knows someone who is.
