'A very satisfying read. Five Stars on Amazon
'I had one very big problem withthis book. After receiving it for review, I discovered it is tenth in a seriesso now, after reading it, I have to go get the first nine. Because I want toknow everything about the whole Rafferty clan. The book is just the rightbalance of police procedural and humor.
I look forward to going back tothe beginning and reading this series from one end to the other.'

From the Author
I do write on other themes, but this one seems to draw me back, time after time. And I thought it would be interesting to give another member of the Rafferty clan a more prominent role.
And, given that part of the ethos of my Rafferty series is that my DI's family are inclined to a little gentle law-bending (even though, on this occasion, Mickey could justifiably claim: 'Not guilty, Your Honour!), I thought it would be fun to have Rafferty's younger brother a suspect in the murder of a man he had reason to hate and watch my DI scurry around in order to protect his brother and catch the real villain of the piece.
A bit of a repetition, perhaps on one of the previous books in the series, but I thought it sufficiently different to give it a go. I certainly had fun writing it.
