Some of the other reviews I think have failed to understand that the sensitivity on the wheel can be turned up by holding both shifters and pressing the d-pad up at the same time (I wouldn't have known either if I hadn't gotten frustrated and read the manual online). If the light is red, that's low sensitivity, which is the default setting and which I've found to be pretty useless on most games. HOWEVER, the orange (medium) and green (high) settings are much more playable. I leave it on high for pretty much every game.

I bought the wheel for PS3, I play a lot of Gran Turismo 6 and Formula One games.

On PS3, the wheel just emulates a controller, so you set the controls like you would if you were using a controller. Gas pedal is R2, brake pedal is L2. Shifters are L1 for downshift and R1 for upshift. The Share and Options buttons become Select and Start.

When playing GT6, the wheel is only really playable on high sensitivity. It works pretty well. It's definitely playable. Only problem I've found is that for some reason, fully pressing the gas pedal only gives about 80% throttle. I think this is more a problem with GT6 than the wheel, though. There's no force feedback but I doubt anyone except diehard racing gamers would be concerned. This isn't the ideal wheel for GT6 but it does its job.

On Formula One games the wheel works very well on high sensitivity. I haven't found any problems and it's much more fun and challenging to drive with a wheel than just using a controller. The paddle shifters and mappable buttons really make you feel like you're driving a race car. Definitely worth the money, it's almost like playing an entirely different game.

I don't have a PS4 but I do know that the list of compatible games is pretty small at the moment (August 2014). I'm assuming more games are going to be coming out.

This is a good wheel for more casual race fans, but more hardcore players might find it lacking.

This is a great wheel to get if you are just getting in to racing games on console.
While this is far from a pro racing wheel (that for consoles start from a x4 jump in price), it is a significant step up from a controller especially for a game like project CARS. Steering is more accurate than with an analog stick and pedals allow for much better graded control than the controller trigger

Pros:
-Supported out of the box with many PS4 games. Personally tried it with Project CARS and Driveclub.
- Can run in controller mode with different sensitivity settings or as wheel with sensitivity and other parameters controlled from in game menu.
- Feels great for a $100 product, has nice grips on the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Rest of the wheel is plastic that feels cheeper.
- Steering force feels consistent, centers back accurately.
- Paddles for shifts work well and feel pretty good.
- Gas/break pedals included work well except for some problems (see cons)
- Very effectively attaches to most table surfaces (unless they are unusually thick).

Cons:
- Wheel is on the small side (but far from tiny).
- Force feedback not included
- The resistance of the bungee cables inside the unit are a bit high
- has about 270 degrees of rotation. This is not a GT wheel, then again you won't be working very hard to steer.
- Pedal board is robust enough for long use but has no firm grip on a carpet or floor. If you play with only one foot, this will slide all over the place as there is no effective counter (you may need to put something in the front to block forward movement)
If you play with both feet like I do, its quite easy to have it controlled)

Tip: plan a head on where you're going to put this wheel.

You do get what you pay for. But it's good for my young kids as far as control goes... Mounting it is an impossibility unless you have a perfectly flat desk or table without any fascia or trim. Now I have to go buy a flat top desk that is heavy enough to counter the forces put upon the controller.

I think 4 stars is worthy of this item. I'm about halfway through Drive Club on the PS4 and so I have a good idea of the things I like and don't like.

Pros
1 - The wheel has a rubber coating that's easy to grip and control the wheel with.
2 - Connects instantly to the PS4, really no setup required other than plugging in the supplied five foot undetachable USB cable.
3 - Wheel motion and pedal feel is actually strong and not cheap feeling. It doesn't take much effort to engage the pedals or turn the wheel, but it's also not completely free moving.
4 - Controls are placed well on the wheel, its easy to navigate the original PS4 controls from the wheel without taking your hands off of 3 and 9 o'clock.
5 - The clamp system works well, the wheel remained sturdy while in use attached to my desk.

Cons
1 - I'm coming from a G27 on my PS3, which had a bigger wheel. To me, this wheel feels a little small.
2 - The pedal board needs a little more weight to it, it was constantly moving during normal use. The rubber pads on the bottom offered no grip really. During heavy ccelerate and stop gameplay, the pedals would almost always throw me off as they moved out of place.
3 - The attached USB chord is somewhat short. My TV is on the wall with my PS4 right below it. My couch is only 12 feet away on an opposite wall, but this chord forced me to sit a little closer to my 70" tvthan I'm comfortable with.

Overall, this wheel feels sturdy and works well for me. It's sensitivity and reaction times are well done. The only real cons I have with this item is the physical attributes. I may need to get a wheel stand to allevate the issues, but that right there will double the cost of this item. Had Thrustmaster addressed my concerns above during development, and raised the price to $200, I would gladly have paid it and offered this wheel a 5 star review.
