The T.16000M FCS (Flight Control System) flight stick is compatible with PC via USB in Windows 10, 8, 7 and Vista (32-bit and 64-bit).
The T.16000M FCS features 4 independent axes, including twist rudder (controlled by rotating the stick), 16 action buttons with “braille”-style physical button identification, one 8-way Point of View (PoV) hat switch and an ergonomic trigger. Its striking orange accents and backlighting bring gamers’ immersion to a whole new level.
H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology
In order to guarantee exclusive high-precision performance, pitch and roll on the T.16000M FCS flight stick employ H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology (U.S. patent US08471815) for 16-bit resolution (i.e. 16000 x 16000 values) – the same pinpoint accuracy delivered by the extremely high-end HOTAS Warthog joystick, allowing gamers to engage their enemies with surgical precision.
The helical spring (0.1” / 2.8 mm in diameter) inside the stick provides firm, linear and smooth tension.
The joystick’s unique ambidextrous design can be easily switched between right-handed and left-handed use. Its twisting handle controls the rudder by default, but can also be locked in place.
Piloting with a joystick in each hand is now possible in all games compatible with two joysticks.

I'm using this stick as a left-hand for my dual-stick setup. The stick came out of the box configured for the right hand, but after about two minutes it was ready to go as a left handed stick. The process couldn't be more simple in my opinion.
The button on the top of the stick are large and easy to press, though they definitely feel a bit "mushy" compared to my nicer stick. The trigger has a smooth actuation and a satisfying click. The hat switch is very nice, smooth and clicky in every direction, and plenty grippy in the heat of combat thanks to the textured plastic.
The actual motion of the stick is very smooth, as in it doesn't stick or grab anywhere. The action is a bit snappy on the return though. There are several videos showcasing my other stick (VKB Gladiator) next to the T16000M and the difference in actuation dampening. You get what you pay for in this regard.
Setup with software is not terribly involved, though can be really invested in to get the most out of your setup. I haven't done much with it at this time, and the system is working just fine.
Overall, a great stick, and one of the only options on the market that can be configured for the left hand. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get into flight sticks without selling one of their kidneys.
Replacement Stick arrived - they never sent UPS with the label to pick up the first Thrustmaster they sent which was Left-handed. After receiving this replacement have learned this:
- The 1st Thrustmaster received was USED.
- The Joystick did not come in a sealed plastic bag.
- The extras parts for The Joystick were in a bag that was taped closed.
- The Left-hand Thrustmaster Joystick set for return was not picked up by U.P.S. even though they dropped the new one off today (they rang the bell and did not wait), nor did they stop yesterday for a pickup.
I have concluded that Thrustmaster has given me this Left-hand Joystick to keep because of the error and the fact that the screw for switching the grip to right is stripped and it was used in the first place and sent to me by mistake.
After all of this I can only say: I LOVE YOU THRUSTMASTER.
I Have ordered the HOTAS Dual Throttle - I will sing your praises from here to high heaven. I will be your disciple until the day i die. And why? You bought me. I'm cheap.
Sent me a left handed joystick - which is unusable and cannot be switched to right-hand because the screw stripped - it was impossible to turn and it broke my little Philips head screwdriver - so i put that in the return box as well.
My Oculus Rift arrived today, and I was expecting an EPIC experience coupled with this Joystick, and Elite Dangerous - but NOPE.
I also ordered the Thrustmaster HOTAS and I really hope that isn't screwed up. Hopefully it's not some weird right-handed Thruster HOTAS.
Will adjust the star when i receive the proper order because of right now, I do not like it, and I cannot use it, and sent it was sent to me, I will rate it based on its usage for a right-handed human playing with a left-handed joystick.
I bought two of these for a dual-stick setup for Star Citizen. They work very well for this purpose, if you can live with the lack of buttons. Sure, these sticks have all the buttons you could want, in theory. In practice, most of them are on the base, not the stick, which leaves one wanting more when it comes to buttons accessible while dogfighting. I find it necessary to augment this arrangement with VoiceAttack. Replacing one stick with a Warthog, or similar, is an option, but then you have to give up a twist axis.
Button count aside, I have found these sticks to be reliable and accurate up to the point that one of them failed. Fwiw, this was the left-hand stick, and the twist axis was seeing very heavy use as my yaw control.
At this point, I have to give props to Amazon. I opened a return request at ~00:30 CST on 08/01; they're telling me that I will have my new stick by 21:00 CST 08/01. Um... wow.
