Product Description
The first milestone of the collaboration between Thrustmaster and Sparco, the TS-XW Racer is a racing wheel with a highly realistic design, inspired by competition: a 1:1 scale replica of the Sparco P310 Competition wheel. The wheel is officially licensed for both Xbox One and Windows (PC), and also includes all official Xbox One buttons to facilitate switching between the game, system menus, social features and so on. The wheel is compatible with Windows. The TS-XW Racer brings together the best possible elements by incorporating all of Thrustmaster’s recent advanced technologies with respect to wheels, while getting even closer to real-world car racing than ever before, thanks to the involvement of the world-famous Sparco auto parts and accessories company. The wheel employs Force Feedback via a powerful 40-watt brushless servomotor with Motor Cooling Embedded cooling system (patent pending): optimal performance is maintained even with intensive use during the longest virtual racing competitions. The TS-XW Racer features an ergonomic design, and is wrapped with genuine suede leather. It features 2 tall sequential paddle shifters, 14 action buttons and 1 directional pad with a push button function. It is perfectly adapted for all racing games (GT, F1, NASCAR, Indy, road racing, etc.). The wheel incorporates a dual belt-pulley system with an axle mounted on metal ball-bearings. Its angle of rotation can be adjusted from 270° all the way to 1080°. The wheel’s pedal set is large, solid and adjustable, with a 100% metal structure. The pedals are adjustable in terms of spacing, inclination and height, and a Conical Rubber Brake Mod is included for the brake pedal. The TS-XW Racer Sparco P310 Competition Mod is compatible with the entire Thrustmaster racing product ecosystem (pedal sets, detachable wheels, gear shifter), giving drivers the flexibility to equip themselves with all of the gear they need to win races.

Pros
The biggest detail is obviously the Sparco competition wheel. Everything about it is amazing. The build quality, the size, the feel, the texture, the 9 and 3 grip, the notches for at 10 and 2 feel exactly right. I guess not surprising, given that it is an actual racing wheel.
Coming from a more budget TMX wheel, the power and detail in this motor feels like night and day in comparison. The motor is able to pick up on road undulations, kerbs and traction loss with a lot more detail and precision.
Trying the TMX wheel back to back compared to TS-XW in Asetto Corsa and Project Cars 2, I was consistently churning out better lap times with TS-XW. I can get so much more information about what the car’s wheels are doing, there is no on-center slop, and the road feedback through the wheel comes much sooner.
The power of the force feedback is also very strong, doing a much better job approximating the way a real car’s steering would feel. You experience every aspect, from steering weight increase while turning to response to bumps. The high level of resistance also helps to not unintentionally exaggerate the inputs such as over correcting for an oversteer slide.
I haven’t noticed any bucking or that mechanical churning noise that tends to happen when cheaper wheels get overwhelmed. The unit is also internally cooled, and I haven’t noticed it getting hot the way TMX or G29 would.
Cons
The cons are few but still should be noted. The pedal set that comes with this is frankly junk. They are flimsy, plasticy nonsense and really not usable in my opinion. I own the VG T3PA solid metal set from Thrustmaster and I wish I could get TS-XW without the pedals for a slightly reduced price.
The Alcantara on the wheel is nice, but I wonder how long it will last before it starts to wear off, as this type of material tends to do, especially with heavy use.
Lastly the buttons on the wheel (excluding the gear paddles, these are great) feel a bit cheap and don’t quite have a solid click feedback to them. Even the TMX has better feeling buttons and it’s half the cost.
Overall, this wheel is great. It’s not cheap, but it is a tremendous difference in every aspect over any $300 entry level wheels. This is not just a difference in feel, I believe this wheel would actually improve your lap times. If you have the money, I would highly recommend skipping any entry level wheel and going straight for this.
Edit: One point I forgot to add to my initial review is that in order to get the most out TS-XW's capabilities, you will have to fiddle with the force feedback settings in a given game's setup. That means either reading up on what each setting does or just giving it a trial an error approach. Project Cars 2 is particularly helpful in this regard, as they have detailed in-game explanation as to what each force feedback setting is supposed to do. After about 20 min, I was able to achieve a much better feel than the pre-set settings.
2nd Edit: The games I play are: Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2, and rFactor2. For some reason Automobilista runs poorly on my PC even though I have way more than enough GPU and CPU power to handle it

TLDR: The seller sent me the European version of the wheel which requires 240v for proper operation. Only thing is, I live in North America where I had the wheel shipped. We have much lower voltage in our outlets so the wheel would frequently lose FFB (Force Feedback) due to not receiving enough power.
To say this was an annoyance is an understatement. It means I couldn't enjoy any race for more than a lap as the FFB would become too intense in some corners (especially in high downforce cars) and would completely disappear, only to be remedied by quitting the app and restarting. I tried F1 23, Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2, and Forza Motorsport 7, all with the same result.
Incredibly disappointing experience. Hopefully if you decide to order from this seller they will ship you the appropriate wheel for your region.

I have it paired with the SF-1000 rim and T3PA pedal set. After updating the firmware and rebooting my system. I hooked it up to my Xbox One S and ran it on F1/23. I have a small issue where it’s occasionally dropping telemetry data and resetting the display (wasn’t an issue in my old TX Base). But otherwise it is a definite upgrade from my 2 year old TX base. A lot more FFB and more road feel. I’m spinning out less with the new base and getting faster lap times.
Sinquieres dar el brinco de control a simulador. Vale la pena empezar aqui.. es impresionante el nivel de inmersion que te da este volante..
Todos los aros son intercambiables...
Muy recomendable!!
