The book was an OK read, I mean in Lieu of all her "pretty ness" and all the brand name labels thrown around, it was as close to reality for some than just a typical man saves a woman novel. Jacy was really smart, and had a lot going on in her life professional and personal. A woman that has never been in LOVE. But came very close to it and not to Keen on taking a chance either.

I guess part 2 will fill us in on why Terrell was in the hospital and or who beat him and why. I would suspect that part 2 will also fill us in on what happened with Rich, he seemed like a cool kind of dude that might have been good for Jacy had she let her guard down

I don't think what Rich did with neecey was any worse than what jacy allowed Terrell to do to her i mean a tit for tat.. I feel like they could have worked past that.. JMO..

Anyway I'd say this was worth the read

I am just reaching Chapter 21, but i just couldnt wait till the end to submit my review. I wanted to do it while the emotions were still fresh... Without giving it away,I really love how Rich just stayed persistant and came back to Jacy right when she needed him most! Such a beautiful thing.. Despite his faults, I am falling in love with him MYSELF.... I already have Parts 2 and 3 waiting for me to purchase next.

Surprisingly...this book was extremely good!!! I ony bought it because of the initial 4 star rating, but didn't expect too much. Well...can you say face cracked? The book was captivating...so much so...I read it and copped 2 & 3 immediately following. I read the entire trilogy in a single weekend. Money well spent. You will fall in love with the characters, get pissed at them and then fall in love again!

From not having a steady relationship to having one and not appreciation it. Until she meet Rick who rocked her world. He missed up too, from things he heard on the street. I going to read this book again.
