•What I like: enought space for one camera (NikonD7200) and two lens, the acces is great you don't even need to put your backpack in the ground, water repellent, and with space for more gear (head lamp, extra cellphone battery, extra camera battery, small first aid kit, a compass, gloves, beanie and some snacks, stylish and with rain cover.
•What I don't like: the water bottle space is pretty slim, so if you want to take your 1 liter camel bag bottle with you is not going to be possible, they forgot to put a wide mouth water bottle bag.
If you ask me this is a must if you hike and occasionally take pictures, you know in case you find really great landscapes during your day.
The best non professional backpack for amateurs

I'm an amateur photographer, I just carry my camera and one lens so I was not looking for a pretty complex pro camera backpack, it's really difficult to take your gear on a day hike so I was looking something like this backpack:Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2017

Pros: Light,Well Made. Side Main Camera pocket great swivels off shoulder for easy access, Top pocket large and open. Build quality great, Looks Great, Comfortable.
Cons: Terrible way to carry a tripod.
The front top loop is threaded in thru a one inch slit in the nylon and out a parallel slit one inch away. There is a glued on backer but zero reinforcement. Nothing holding it except one thin layer of nylon. The lower loop is just a loop. The top loop tightens but is secured to bag at a single slit point. Your tripod would flop all over the place. And, I cant imagine how it wouldn't deform or rip the back at upper contact point.
If you use the side to secure the tripod you have lost use of water bottle pocket and the side pocket.
So, I think this bag is excellent but not if you want to carry a tripod with you
I am only pointing this out because in the Thule videos they make it look like it great for tripods

Zum Thule. Der Rucksack ist gut verarbeitet und hat die Thule typischen Farben für Innen- und Außenleben. Der Rucksack scheint überarbeitet worden zu sein, jedoch nicht unbedingt zum Vorteil. Man erkennt die "neue" Version schnell an den teilweise Schwarzen Anhängern der Reißverschlüsse (bei der alten waren sie alle in dieser Türkisen Farbe). Mit dieser Variante gibt es nun kein keine SD Kartenfächer mehr auf der einen Seite, wie im Video bei ca 1:18 gezeigt. Dies wurde durch ein plumpes Netz ersetzt wo jetzt alles drin herumfliegt (Toll! Nicht). Der Umkrempelbare Kragen am Deckel bei 1:39 wurde ebenfalls entfernt. Die Reissverschlüsse sind aber weiterhin einlaminiert, daher war der Kragen evtl. nicht nötig.
Das obere Fach auch wie die Safety Zone (Kameratasche) entfernbar und somit kann der Rucksack auf ganzer Ebene zu einem normalen umfunktioniert werden. Allerdings fällt er dann aber auch zusammen und steht nicht mehr von allein. Ich habe die Maße der wichtigsten Fächer auf meinen Fotos angeben, denn diese findet man so gut wie nie und dann steht man Dumm da, weil nichts passt wie angenommen.
Das Kamerafach ist im Vergleich sehr Groß und bietet einigen Platz. Durch die Form des Rucksackes ist dieses aber nicht komplett viereckig sondern vorn Rund, daher ergeben sich unterschiedliche Maße und auch die Innenteiler haben eine Rundung, somit kann nur Vertikal getrennt werden. Die Öffnung ist mit 11cm recht Groß, mit Batteriegriff kann es etwas eng werden aber es sollte dennoch passen, da die Öffnung nicht versteift wurde. Auf den Bildern seht Ihr eine Sony Alpha SLT-A77 welche wunderbar mit dem Sigma 10-20mm reinpasst. Dazu noch das Sony 16-50, 2,8, Kabelfernbedienung, Akku und Taschenlampe (P14).
Da ich meist nur mit dem kleinen Reisestativ unterwegs bin, habe ich dieses seitlich befestigt. Im Video wird auch diese stelle genutzt. Ich frage mich jedoch, wie lang der Beutel an der Seite halten wird. Diese ist nur um unteren Drittel etwas verstärkt und wirkt recht dünn. Im Rahmen der zweijährigen Garantie werde ich mir das ganz genau ansehen. Der Riemen am Stativ ist mit einem Klipser, es kann also schnell entnommen werden. Der Riemen auf der Vorderseite ist allerdings lediglich Klettverschluss und teils viel zu lang. Ich hätte hier auch so einen Klipser genommen, den man dann Stufenlos hätte einstellen können. Ich habe mir nun einen angebaut, falls das Stativ doch größer wird. Zu schwer sollte es wahrscheinlich nicht sein und das Gewicht eher auf die untere Halterung verlagert werden, der Geschichte da oben traue ich ehrlich gesagt nicht.
Ich werde berichten, wenn ein paar Wochen vergangen sind, wie sich das ganze nun schlägt und vor allem hält.
Update 10/2023. Der Rucksack hält und hält und hält.

Je viens de recevoir mon sac Thule, et première impression en ouvrant le carton, il parait légèrement petit. Mais il ne s'agit d'une valise donc ça parait logique. En volume je dirais qu'il fait un bon 20L.
Surprise suivante, le sac est quasiment rigide, la poche du dessus est doublé avec un genre de carton dur, et celle de l'APN est bien doublé en mousse. Et la grande surprise est sa LÉGÈRETÉ. Il est vraiment mais vraiment léger, bien plus que mon sac de rando 20L Arva que je prend régulièrement.
Autre point qui est cool, tout est amovible. Les deux poches (photo et supérieur) peuvent s'enlever, même si celle du dessus peut être un peu dur à retirer. On peut donc avoir une grande poche pour utiliser le sac pour autre chose que la photo.
Par contre, petit point noir de la poche "cartonné", vu que l'on ne cous pas le carton, celui ci est collé/scotché, et rend les jointures assez fragiles (cf photo) et a déjà lâché après la deuxième remise en place. Après rien de bien grave, j'ai remis un bout de scotche derrière et on ne voit rien.
Le compartiment APN est trapézoïdale, ce que rend un peu plus bizarre le rangement des objo. La taille fait qu'on oublie le 70-200 monté sur boitié, ça ne rentre pas. Mon Sigma 2.8 passe limite mais tout démonté j'ai pus rentré le boitier (D5200+grip) / Tamron 18-200 f3,5-6,3 / Sigma 10-20 f3,5 / Nikon 35 f1,8 / Sigma 70-200 f2,8. Ce qui est déjà convainquant. En plus, les pads de compartimentations peuvent être déplacés (merci le velcro) partout à l'intérieur de la poche grâce au tissus intérieur de la poche.
Pour l'accroche trépied, je n'ai pas (encore) trouvé la petite sangle du haut, qui passe dans le trou comme sur la photo. Mais il y a des sangles sur les cotés du sac qui me paraissent bien plus stable.
