While I am wildly in love with my Chariot, I'm (mildly) less so for this sling. Oh, to be sure it's made with typical Thule quality and for that reason the somewhat hefty price tag is justified. However, Thule/Chariot has chosen to make this sling a one-product-fits-all-chassis sling. This means you're getting a lot of hardware (and lengthy instructions) to make it compatible with pretty much every Chariot out there.
Case in point - I'm installing this in a one-child carrier, so the footbar and all of the hardware save for two D rings is useless to me. Even the footbar is useless unless you have the two-child carrier. This hardware is still something I have to keep though, in order to pass along to the next parent who may have a two-child carrier. This just seems wasteful to me and I wish there were a better way to engineer it.
Instructions are similarly broad. You really do need to read ultra-carefully as the instructions will jump around a bit. More than once I found myself trying to follow directions for an older chassis, leading to some confusion. I'd end up turning the page and seeing "oh, THIS set of instructions is for my chassis" when the previous set didn't say those steps were for a different chassis. That coupled with sparse black-and-white photos made installation more complicated than it should have been.
That said, I did find an installation video on YouTube (Thule has a channel there) which told me in two minutes what the written instructions hadn't after 30 minutes. Yep, this issue is mainly user error so I'm not dinging the product for it...just saying if you're confused by the written instructions like I was, there are other resources out there to help you.
Once I watched the video, installation went smoothly. Junior was very comfortable in it and I have no issues with how securely she is kept in the sling. Overall, it's a product that extends the utility of an already-excellent product and I'm happy with it.
