Not only it worked great with my laptop but I also tried it with a Mac and it just worked with no hiccups whatsoever. Just make sure to get the WD19TB not the WD19, which is not thunderbolt and costs about $100 less. Another supplier sent me WD19 two times in a row and I had to switch supplier.

Currently using this for my Alienware M17.

I have used 3 different docks, two with Thunderbolt 3 and one that was just USB-C. This Dock is by far the best. My current setup has two monitors, 1 that is used with 2K resolution the other is 1080P and used as a drawing tablet. All peripherals are connected to the dock with the monitors and everything runs perfectly. With one cable I can disconnect or connect the entire set.

I should note that, for me, I had to update all my drives to get everything working. Initially, the USB ports were not working properly.

Well, I hate to bring this information to you, but the attachments to your computer are once again being changed to be very small like the one for your cell phone and there are only 4 of them and a card aperture. So if you have the old popular flat connectors they will not fit with your new $4000 Dell Computer, which is a wonderful product with wonderful support and amazing features to customize to your own taste, but if you are like me, you are inundated with the old flat, long connectors who also need a home, and because of that need you need this docking station. Additionally, the docking station has a place for the Ethernet cable and some other accoutrements, not to mention that with my lap top will completely blackout if it connected for too long to the portable charger, which means that I have to hold down the start button for a count of 25 seconds and then call for Dell service intervention to reconfigure it, one must have a docking station if you want to make sure that you have a full charge all the time, until such time as you want to move it or take it with you elsewhere, because this docking station will meter the charge and not overcharge the computer to forestall the problem in the first place. I really like the Dell WD19TB Docking Station. This is the second docking station I have purchased in the last couple of years. I have two laptop computer setups and I use the docking station for both. It makes using dual monitors, along with multiple external hard drives and pointing devices a lot easier to set up. My first one worked flawlessly until a Dell Bios update that caused it to stop working. However, with another Bio tweak it became functional again and has worked great ever since. My new one is working flawlessly as well and really helps when connecting ethernet, external hard drives and multiple pointing devices. Set up turned out to be quite easy and it worked great out of the box, connecting two Dell monitors (one 4k and one 2k), an ethernet cable, two external hard drives, a track ball, mouse and tablet. To me they are a little pricey, but built well and work great with Dell products.

Nothing else. No power, nothing.

It works transparently and does exactly what it promised. It's rather pricey, but still, I believe good value for the money.

La primer semana que probé las bocinas me parecieron buenas, incluso me pareció que dejaban un poco que desear.., sin embargo, les comento que las tenía conectadas directamente a una laptop, y después de que decidí probar el mini jack de un dock que recién adquirí (Dell WD19TB) y ohh sorpresa, el sonido mejoró bastante, tanto en volumen, como en bajos (ahora sí los sentí"..) y mucha más fidelidad en los tonos altos y medios, por lo que les recomiendo que las conecten en una tarjeta de sonido dedicada (tal vez en las PC's y/o en alguna que otra lap ya tenga el poder necesario por default"), verán que mejoran bastante, en mi caso, supongo que el dock le aporta más potencia. En fin, las recomiendo 100%, si buscan un 2.0 de escritorio (sin un cajón super grande en tus pies), con un estilo retro, pero moderno y de alta calidad, ésta es una excelente opción.

I wanted to get this docking station since I purchased my i9 Dell XPS. I faced trouble to use only one HDMI port and then use an apple USB-C to HDMI converter cable to attach yet another screen. Then I had to find a port to attached my Focusrite microphone. Keyboard and mouse needed another port.
