Cute purse, but not the best.

I purchased this purse for my 13 year old daughter, as a birthday present the second week of August. She scoured the Amazon site in search of the perfect purse for her style, and chose this one. When it arrived, we were both very satisfied with it. It is cute and a nice size. The material is nice as well. She has been using it every day, since. Unfortunately, about two weeks after use, the strap starting tearing off of the purse. I was VERY disappointed. I expected it to last more a month without problems. Thankfully, my daughter is a little seamstress, so she was able to sew the strap back onto the purse. It is just disappointing that she had to do that after less than a month of owning it.

Great Teen Cross-body Bag for Summer

This is a nice smaller sized Cross-body Bag especially for summer. It is waterproof, and has little compartments and zippered pockets all over.
Great for going swimming and all summer sports. I bought this for my 13 yr. old Grand-daughter to take to Europe this summer on the family trip.
She loves it, and loves the soft blue color. It is very light weight for wearing this Cross-body bag while walking all the streets of Paris.
It is very well made and has just a small logo on the front. She is very happy with the bag, and I feel it was the perfect gift for her and the right size.
It was Prompt service, and well packaged.

Good for the price! The little monkey on the side lost his arms though! :(
But that's fine. The bag is fully functional.

One thing, this bag is coming from a far distance, so when it comes in, it'll smell like motor oil. I put a bunch of dryer sheets in each pocket and let it air out for a few days before use. Other than that, works like a charm!

Updated 8-1-16 When I got it I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect size and color. The first time I actually used it the little monkey completely fell apart. His arms fell off and his fur just pealed off.
The bag is great but why put the little monkey on it if he is just going to fall apart? He obviously isn't necessary to the function of the bag but I am disappointed that he was so cheaply made.

Great LIttle Bag to Carry Essentials & Stay Hands-Free

I've only been using the bag for about a week so I can't speak to its durability thus far, but I love the size. I wanted a small crossbody bag to replace one I've had for years that was gross and dirty and needed to be replaced. This one is perfect. I don't/won't use it every day. It's mainly my "running errands" bag and "need to be hands-free" bag. I live in Chicago and do a lot of errands by foot or via public transportation and I'm usually carrying other things in addition to a purse. This bag makes it easy to do what I need to do without the bulk. It's a small slimline bag and is good for carrying just the essentials - money, phone, keys and maybe some sunglasses. Could fit more than that, but I don't want/need to carry much more than that when I'm out and about. If you need a big bag for lots of stuff, this isn't the bag for you! Also, mine had a weird odor out of the box. I put some dryer sheets in a couple of pockets for a few days and the odor is essentially gone.

I love the multiple pockets, all equipped with zippers, which help me stay organized on the job. Strap is easily adjustable to be worn on or close to hip or down further based on your preference.

LOVE this bag. It is super functional and great for traveling. I used it all throughout my two week vacation in Europe. The strap can expand to go across your body. There are four pockets in all. The two top compartments were large enough to store my Rick Steves guidebook (also a MUST for a first time traveler) and the small front pocket is useful if you want quick access to a credit card or change. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that the fabric on the inside near the zippers is starting to fray, and sometimes the threads get caught when zipping the pockets. But with the price and functionality, I would definitely buy again! The Gorilla is a fun bonus, though I removed mine while wearing it.
