Really hit some Trigger points for me!!
I've thown it across the room a few times & usually not my character!!
It's a long read because every page you learn something new within yourself! Buy it.
I dare you! Hahahahaha
I didn't know that I was going to get nailed to the Wall!! Not a Foo Foo Fluffy book but it'll have you searching inside yourself
Also, for those non-buddhist coworkers, you won't get that "look" when they see (can't) the title of the book.
I've read better translations, however it is what it is! TINY and loaded with info!

Just give it to the person. While difficult to understand at times, the information and awareness that develops is very helpful. We don't really know what happens when we die. Even if an atheist, this book will help direct your path.
I would guess the readers will be more aware and prepared. I like it anyway. The poem is the best if that is all one can manage. My mother is 92. It is hard to let go. She has lost most of her ability to speak about her memories or even remember them. I am going to get her to read the poem out loud for her...and me. I think the Tibetan Book of the Dead will be very helpful for both of us.
