Product Description

Tic Tac Toe by 7 Dragons brings the simple but classic game of Tic Tac Toe to Kindle.

Similar to the pen-and-paper experience from the school days, choose your Xs or Os and try to line up three in a row. "Pass and Play" allows you to play against a friend, or choose to play against Kindle with three different difficulty levels. Game statistics allow you to keep track of high scores for each difficulty level.

Tic Tac Toe is good entertainment for kids, and a fun way to take a break!

First of all, this is Tic Tac Toe, not ChessMaster Chess. It is a simple game that anyone with a reasonably good IQ will be able to beat or draw every single game, regardless of the difficulty level selected. It is good brain food for the children as they learn the algorithm themselves and reach the level of win/draw every game. I find it an excellent choice for my little daughter as she rides in the car, or just a nice distraction from time to time. It makes her feel good to do battle with a game that she can beat. I recommend this game, but dear me, remember it is Tic Tac Toe, nothing more, nothing less.

When you first load the Tic Tac Toe game, you will get a menu to choose from 3 difficulty levels, as well as two player mode. If you are looking for your statistics, try hitting the menu button on your kindle.

Another option after hitting the menu button is "Help". I almost didn't try this - after all, like the other reviewers have pointed out it *is* tic tac toe, after all. But I'm glad I did. There is a description of the difficulty levels here that I find helpful, and a couple of hints that may be a little less so, if you've ever played tic tac toe before.

Here are the descriptions provided in the application:
Easy Mode: In Easy Mode the Kindle can be beaten. Kindle will play like a human opponent and occasionally make am incorrect move giving you an opening.
Medium Mode: In Medium Mode the Kindle will play well but can be beaten with a bit of strategy. Kindle will play well and make mostly intelligent moves.
Hard Mode: In Hard Mode the Kindle is very difficult to beat. A tie game is almost as good as a win. Since the Kindle is playing almost perfectly it is very good practice. After playing some games in Hard Mode it will be very hard for human players to beat you.

My experience:
Easy Mode: Kindle's plays almost seemed random. No blocking moves, doesn't take openings if I give them.
Medium Mode: Plays do make sense more often, but Kindle may or may not block if you get two in a row. Kindle seems to frequently miss chances to stop your win.
Hard Mode: Here is where the fun comes in. Kindle does seem to have a consistent, good strategy. Kindle does not miss your openings, and does set up double win traps (where you have two different potential wins to block in one turn).

Tic Tac Toe is a very simple game. Is it worth having it on your Kindle? It sure is for me! You can choose different levels of difficulty, making it the perfect thing to pull out when I'm stuck waiting somewhere with one of my grandkids. They can play tic-tac-toe with each other (or me) or with the computer, and they don't get too discouraged because they are able to beat the computer sometimes. I've only had this game a week or two and it has been played many times a day every day. Think of all the paper I've saved. Kindle is much less messy, too!

This is an ok little game that I think I got it for my kt (beacuse it was free?) but I get bored with it and don't play with it that much. But I guess its alright to pass the time with (for a little while) if you are in the drs or dds ofc. I would recommend it to anybody who likes the 'try and beat the computer" type games (on a lighter level).

This is just like the real game, only with Amazon playing against you. Would be nice to be able to switch it to a friend playing, even if you have to share the same kindle. I won all the easy games right off, but the next level is frustrating, and I have not won one yet. Seems like I should be able to win one by now, soon I hope. I like Jewel much better for the amount of game time I have available.

This is a great game when you need something to do and there's nothing good on the TV ... like the other day I was sitting in the doctor's office. They had a soap opera on the TV (oh geeeeeeze) and I need something to do that wouldn't be too taxing on me. This was great!

This electronic Tic Tac Toe game is great fun. My grandson (who's 2 and a half) has a blast playing against the computer or against us. He needs a little help now and again but still great time. Also you save Huge amounts of paper!

I saw TTT for my Kindle and clicked the option to buy it right away. It is a fun simple game to play. Do not get me wrong...I love chess and reading...But it is nice to have something that does not take a lot of time to play. TTT can make a ten minute period of time fly by when you need it to.
