I tried this on a regular thickness tie and on one of the thinnest material ties on my tie rack. Neither tie could fit in the Tie Caddy (the Caddy was too short and not big enough around). Seems to me that this product was never even tested before it was produced! A total disappointment. Unless you have paper-thin ties, I think it is highly unlikely that you will even be able to use this product with your ties!

These containers are an excellent idea for packing ties and keeping them pristine. The mechanism is simple but clever. The only problem is that the plastic case used is not durable enough. It cracks easily when packed in a suitcase, even a hard-sided one if not sufficiently sandwiched between soft items.

Clearly those are not real ties in the catalogue picture. I bought 3 of these and they are a total waste. The ties just do not fit in them. The cylinders are way too small.

When I saw this product, I was skeptical. But, I ordered 3 of them to try. I found these cylinders to be the perfect solution to tie storage and travel. My ties stay neat, clean, and wrinkle-free. My only criticism is that I think they need to be about a quarter inch larger in each direction. I have some longer ties and some ties that are made of thicker material. It was difficult to get a thicker tie all the way into the cylinder - but I did it! If they were just a bit larger, it would be much easier. Also, could the clip be a spring clip? I think that may hold the tie better for rolling. All in all, I would recommend this item. In fact, I'm ordering more for myself AND I put it on my wish list (in case my friends are reading this :) ).

Be careful with this item. The slot where the time winds through has very rough edges and did nothing but put multiple snags in my brand new tie and totally ruined it. Absolute garbage item!

The product stores ties well. It's also convenient for traveling. But wish the design made rolling the tie easier. You get anxious just trying to roll the tie well especially when you are running late to catch the flight. It's not too small for my ties.

My major criticism is the price for what it is. The material is the cheapest plastic one can find. To sell it for 10.95 is way too expensive for what it's made of. It probably costs 10 cents to manufacture.

They really have to think about the clientele. For those who need to use a travel solution for ties, that kind of cheap and low quality plastic really is disgraceful.

I was pleased to see this product on the site - it seemed a clever and simple idea. I am working in USA for a month, and had bought some amazing ties on sale - truly stunning. But now that I have the tie caddy (I ordered 4) these amazing ties don't actually fit in them. My ties are substantial - quality ties by Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith and others, with some feel to them, and the whole tie does not fit in.

I now see there is a larger tie caddy available - but I'm puzzled as to what ties will really fit into the ones I have purchased. Modern ties in Macy's and Nordstrom certainly will not.

When ITie Caddy Roll Up Tie Case get home I'll try some of my older, thinner ties - you know- the ones we don't wear at the minute, so I won't need to travel with.
