Rhavensfyre have such a way of beautifully describing their characters and the world they live in that you find yourself drawn into it and never wanting to leave. I was surprised by the vulnerability in a young(er) Stacie that I never saw coming after getting to know her from earlier in the series, but I enjoyed seeing that dimension of her character. Maria was, as always, awesome and the perfect match for Stacie. The authors did such a good job with the Josie character that I immediately fell in love with her and already know I'll be stocking up on tissue before the Stacie/Maria chapter of this series is over.
If you haven't read books 1 thru 3, don't let that stop you from reading this one first. Book 4 can be read as a standalone and wonderful compliment to the Chase and Rowan series.
