I recently purchased a 22" Tiger Board just for something to amuse myself with and to get from place to place around the neighborhood. There are a bunch of different brands that make skateboards like this but Tiger Board was the most reasonably price one that I could find. I thought that the lower price point might mean that maybe the quality wasn't as good as some of the competitors, but I could not have been more WRONG. Every piece of this complete skateboard is top of the line. The deck is a very durable firm plastic with just the right amount of flex. Even for me who weighs 165 pounds, standing and riding on the board, it feels sturdy. Next, the trucks are all metal, just like a regular skateboard. Whats even better is that they are colored! Mine are a really cool metallic blue. They look great and they work great. Turning and carving is a breeze when riding. Lastly, the wheels and bearings. The wheels are nice and big, they grip the road very well and they are soft enough to roll over gravel and etc. As for the bearings, all I can say is WOW! These are no toy skateboard bearings. These things are ABEC 7's and I can tell you that they FLY!
All in all I recommend a Tiger Board skateboard for anyone. Whether it is a younger child or for someone a bit older like me, the quality for the price is unmatched. I am loving mine and I am sure you will too.

I've been riding skateboards since I was a little boy, and I know the different feel between riding a board with adequate parts vs those of cheap generics. So I approached this initially with caution.

When I first recieved it I was a little dissapointed because the bushings were stiffer than I expected and so carving wasn't great and the wheels don't spin great with these ABEC 7's.

Ultimatley after breaking the board after a few days, it's riding much better. I think I just needed to "break it in" a little. Now it carves a little better.

Bearings: these are just poor quality. I never rode on ABEC brand bearings before but I wonder why there's such a huge difference between these and other brands. They just don't spin well. Ultimatley I don't need it to spin forever but I will say that I don't pick up anywhere near the speed that I do on my other boards. On the otherhand, it makes some downhills a bit more tolerable since high speeds on this little thing is a recipe for complete loss of control.

Wheels: So far, the wheels are holding up. Supposedly the same size and durometer as most of these other boards. They are soft for sure. Don't spin great, I had to loosen them with my skate - tool just to get them to actually spin more than 1-2 seconds but at the cost of them having a little sideways motion to the. Maybe they just need spacers which allow you to tighten without affecting wheel motion.

Bushings: as noted. Super stiff at first. Need some breaking in. Doesn't give me adequate carve. In fact I tried to loosen to allow more carve but no change, even to the point of the actual bushing washers coming loose. These seem like low quality bushings but I understand that the parts have to be appropriate for the cost of production.

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!!! Now let me first start off by saying this ins't a review of Amazon (they're great), but of the Tiger Board. A couple weeks ago I decided to buy myself a Penny Board. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and they (real Penny Boards) seemed to be a lot of fun. After some researching I decided to pick up the real Penny Board but happened to come across this junk Tiger Board. Now normally I always go for the cheaper product if the reviews on it are good, which this had (I don't know how though, this things garbage) so I went ahead and made the purchase. Fast forward a couple days later I get the board and realize that it bends too much, WAY TOO MUCH. I tried to skate on it but due to the flimsiness of the board I couldn't ride it correctly. Now keep in mind that I only weigh 145 pounds. That's right no typo, 145 pounds! Now you might be telling yourself "well maybe he's just exaggerating, even Penny Boards flex a little", stop! Just stop... The key word is "a little". Of course all plastic boards will flex a little but this thing did to the point where it felt unsafe. I ended up going to the local Zumiez and purchasing a real Penny Board and that thing feels completely different. Don't believe me? That's fine, go ahead and purchase it, take it to Zumiez, and compare for yourself.

What upset me the most is that this manufacturer didn't put a weight limit on its product (jeez that sure woulda been helpful). After riding this board and comparing it to my Penny Board I've come to this conclusion: Either the makers of Tiger Boards are writing fake reviews on Amazon or only people under 100 pounds are using it. I like to think it's a mixture of both.

I wanted to get a pennyboard and I wasn't willing to pay 100 dollars for a pennyboard so I turned to amazon to help me. they helped a lot. I love the board. it has good flex and it cruises really well. just replace the bearings with red bones bearings and you are good to go
