Sorry, but I cannot read this story.
At first, it is as though the author is allergic to commas, but then it becomes clear that the author isn't fond of paragraphs, or punctuation in general.
Long, run-on sentences with their subjects flitting around like a two-year-old with a bag of sugar.
Trite and cliché-filled.
Like on The X-Factor when the contestant's family & friends all say, "Oh, you're a great singer! You don't need any lessons or criticism! Go for it!" it seems as though no one outside of the author's rah-rah inner circle gave the writing here an honest edit before the book was released to the public.
While everyone needs love, support, and encouragement, you're not doing your loved one any favors by not offering sincere criticism, or by not admitting that you don't know about grammar or punctuation, or flow. No one should *want* to put their work out there without having had at least one informed but uninterested party read and critique it.
