Very fiddley, not perfect fit and finish

Like all replacement shells this one is lighter and cheaper feeling than an original. It looks and feels acceptable. My gripes are: 1) No instructions ,there's some rubber pieces I don't know what they are. 2) Screws are different than the originals, you just have to guess at what goes where. 3) Trigger pins fit very sloppily. 4) The bottom halves of the shell wouldn't fit together, I had to shave some plastic around one of the resistors, it absolutely wouldn't clear.

As others have said, you get what you pay for. I mainly wanted this one over others due to it having the actual DS logo on the top. It does have that and the red top is the best part of this whole thing.

There where a couple spots where I had to dremel off so that things would fit. All of the black plastics were extremely flimsy. They also weren’t completely matte so it looked like a used OG housing. The cut outs for all of the buttons and screens are also slightly too big. This caused weird gaps around the buttons and made it so you could see the motherboard for the bottom screen.

All and all, I should have bought a broken/nonworking one from eBay and taken the shell.
