Product Description

In this new comedy, a pair of newlyweds, Jeff Woodcock (Eddie Kaye Thomas, American Pie) and Steph Woodcock (Kat Foster, Law & Order),who have been married 12 days, move in next door to a long-married couple. Eddie Stark (Brad Garrett, Everybody Loves Raymond) and Joy Stark (Joely Fisher, Desperate Housewives), who have been married for over 8,000 days, provide the younger couple with a surprising look at what their future might hold Til Death. Real-life husband & wife Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa are the show writers.

There's nothing like an overly demonstrative pair of newlyweds to make an old married couple feel like a failure. And old. So when Jeff (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Steph (Kat Foster) Woodcock--married for all of 12 days--move next door to Eddie (Brad Garrett) and Joy Stark (Joely Fisher), the latter feel the need to put their youthful neighbors in their place. After all, they've been married more than 23 years and can't remember ever having been as silly as the Woodcocks are with their multiple PDAs and cries of "I love you." And such is the premise of the first season of 'Til Death. The Starks have a mean streak that binds them together. Rather than allowing the young couple to fight amongst themselves and learn from their own mistakes, the Starks make themselves feel better by instigating spats. Never mind that the Woodcocks are in their 20s and their been-there done-that neighbors are two decades older. The young couple still seeks out their approval and wants to befriend them. Despite the sometimes-clunky dialogue, Garrett and Fischer are likeable even in their unlikable roles. But Thomas--the least memorable actor from the cast of the American Pie films--is miscast in his part. Though earnest, he's not believable. All 22 episodes of the first season, which aired on Fox in 2006-2007, are included on this 3-disc set. Look for guest stars such as Margaret Cho (as a Stark pal who befriends the Woodcocks) to steal the show. Married, with Children alum Ted McGinley also makes an appearance as Eddie's bachelor pal (and idol) who begins to lose his cool factor when he falls hard for one of Joy's friends. The show would fare better if it focused less on the primary two couples and included more of their friends, who are more interesting and likeable. --Jae-Ha Kim

Brad Garrett was great in Raymond and this is him non stop funny, I haven't laughed this much at a tv series since I don't remember. I heard they cancelled the woodcocks his neighbors who made the show that much better, so just season one and maybe two then the show went down hill from what I know, I just have season one, might buy season 2 at some point since I see the woodcocks on the cover of that one. If you like Garretts on Raymond he's not so slow on this one but a slightly quicker pace to himself. You will love this season, I can't recommend it enough and the price for this season is right five bucks with ship. So check it out, it's two sets of neighbors one seasoned in marriage and the other just starting out.

I was so sad to see this show go! I do have to admit that the last 2 seasons that focused more on Allie the daughter and her ridiculous boyfriend/husband were not funny but the beginning of the show was awesome. Everytime I watch this show I find something different to laugh at. BG Is so funny and a great well rounded actor. The cast works well together and they play off each other nicely. This is great to buy for anyone looking for a new funny show to watch. I love comedies I am so sick of reality TV as the only thing on TV (I cannot stand reality TV and refuse to watch it). This show is funny and believable. BG and JF are a couple that have been married 20+ years and they are going through long time marriage rut and they live next door to a newlywed couple who are still so in love and learning how to live together. The newlywed couple arguments are typical and what you would expect. The wife is demanding and even makes her husband have a bedtime (which sadly is like one of my newly married friends). I love this show and it is a good laugh and a show for all ages.

Joely Fisher is sexy and smart. Brad Garrett is awkward. Eddie Kaye Thomas is almost naive. Kat Foster is bubbly, yet seasoned. Together they mesh quite well and make for some great comedy. The Newlyweds & the not so newlyweds. It's absolutely hysterical & something my husband & I relate to all too well.

One of the top ten sitcoms of all time -- very underappreciated. There is no TV program in history with as much depth regarding the husband/wife relationship -- and there is not a funnier show from any time period!

I was very fearful after Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends went off the air that the demise of the sitcom was near. It's NOT!! Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher bring magic and wit back to the screen with 'Til Death. Brad somehow manages to bring a brand new character with all the old "lovability" and charm of his old character (Robert - Everybody Loves Raymond). I've never had the privilege to see Joely Fisher act before - but she will win you over! The chemistry between the two is hard to miss. The Woodcocks (Eddie Kaye Thomas and Kat Foster) also are easy to become addicted to. In the second season, Kat Foster brings a hilarious side to her character. I look forward to Wednesday nights!!!!

I have seen the entire thing on tv and I wanted to have it in my collection. The only good thing about this is that there are NO commercials, lol. I am waiting for season 2 to be a little cheaper but there is no season 3 or 4! WTF. Good though, I like it and you will too, trust me, if you don't then I have no idea what to tell you.
