I rented this movie 2 yrs. ago on Amazon and they refused to sell the DVD. I wrote them many times about selling the DVD and they finally after 2 years, put it on sell. I quickly bought it and looked at it again.

It is a great, loving shocking movie. You won't believe what you see at the end. I was left speechless when I first saw it on amazon rental, and was annoyed I could not buy it then. But now I own it...and very few copies are left. If you see it but it right away.

Murder falls somewhere in there. You've got to see it to believe it.

This was one of those low budget movies.

The interaction of the characters was so the same as you see in other films. No original content.

The police detective in the movie was so weird.

I could have saved my money and watched a free Amazon Prime movie that would have provided greater movie time.

Please remind me never to waste 3 bucks again, I predicted the whole thing just by the Mother n law asking where her family is and it ruined the whole thing not to mention I think they could have found better actors hanging on a corner post somewhere and low bugdet doesn't even describe it....save your money!

Janaya Black is a superb director and film maker. She has made her make in Detroit's budding movie industry! This movie is suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The surprises never stop coming right up to the last scene of the movie!!!

Set in Detroit, this film explores the complex relationship of trust and conscience. A little predictable, but overall well directed.

I really enjoy black films and watch all that I can going back to my childhood in the segregated South. After the Blaxploitation era ended, it was followed by a glorification of the horrors of poor and hopeless in the inner cities with drugs, no good men, guns, unbelievable black on black treatment of fellow blacks. Now we have entered the age of black indies. the characters or professionals in good homes, from good homes, who see the future as a place of opportunity and not dread. And Lord knows do they get into trouble--usually involving sex, murder, blue collar crime. Strict adherence to fidelity to the black Protestant Gospel Church is a necessary ingredient for the ultimate salvation. All have sermons and gospel singing. Actually I prefer this present phase in the development of Black cinema. So what's my beef with Till Death Do Us Part? 1st there is no originality in the plot. 5 minutes into it and you know what's going to happen and whose going to do what to whom. The final scene has nothing to do with the movie, so we'll be surprised, shocked, stunned----you pick the adverb. The acting was terrible in every way. At one point the heroine sings a song at a karaoke nightclub. Her voice is excruciating. Even her husband is forced to say that she really stinks. But her voice is better than the acting. The actors are not particularly eye catching and you know that there are hundreds of gorgeous people out there who can act, waiting to be given opportunities, So why these and several are very fat, and none is compelling. At least if actors can't act--say Elizabeth Taylor and Terry Crews, at least one can be diverted from thinking that "This movie is awful." by watching them. No.Read more ›
