About Tim Moynihan
"Moynihan’s polished prose is fast-paced, and his gritty descriptions are sometimes starkly poetic." - Kirkus Reviews
Tim Moynihan, from East Hartford, Connecticut, enlisted in the Army right out of high school, attended Providence College and was commissioned in 1987. He served in a variety of assignments as an Airborne Ranger qualified intelligence officer, DOD civilian and defense contractor. In 1991, while still in the Army, he gave his life to Christ and went into ministry alongside his military and government service. His e-novelette, No Greater Love: An Afghan Memoir, describes the post-military career of Colonel Mike "Pancho" Sanchez as he deals with the painful memories of men lost in war. His novel, Prodigal Avenger: A Story of the Secret War in Afghanistan, about a covert operation gone wrong, was a 2014 ACFW Genesis Finalist published by Elk Lake Publishing, Inc. Tim and his Army veteran wife, Sue, reside in Southern California. They have two sons who also serve in the Army.
