I would liken this book to an ordering catalog w/out prices instead of your typical field guide. The pictures are very generic, and there's almost zero identifying information. Essentially the information reads like this- "The tree's native region, the tree's size and growth rate, where the tree fits in the landscape, and what conditions the tree favors/dislikes.
If you're looking for a glorified ordering catalog then this should be right up your alley, but if you're looking for something remotely useful then steer clear of this one.
