Terrific shoes, good fit, comfortable, waterproof, and they wear/ hold up extremely well.
I HAD ORDERED THESE TIMBERLAND BOOTS FOR MY SON AND HE IS VERY PLEASED WITH THE STYLE AND QUALITY.
I would be happier if the soles lasted longer though, I only get about 2 years out of a pair before they wear out.

This is the 6th pair of these shoes I have owned and it will be the last.....since they moved to china the quality is way down and the shoes didn't last near as long as the last pair I had, hell the sole on the back wore out and was hollow. Never again Timberland and that is too bad because these were my favorite shoes.

I have owned 2 pairs of this shoe in the past, and been very satisfied, so I purchased another pair. The new shoes are not nearly as comfortable as the previous. Specifically, the tongue lacks sufficient padding. The tongue's gusset folds awkwardly, forming a lump on both sides of the tongue, which is very uncomfortable on the top of the foot. The stitching on the mock toe is also a little iffy. I was disappointed in the overall quality. I returned the shoes.

This is my second pair of Timberlands. I've had these shoes for about a year and love them. They did take a little while to break in around the ankle but they are a pleasure to wear now. I use them mostly on either rainy, snowy, or icy days. I wear them running errands, hiking, or walking the dog. These shoes are well built and very comfortable. They look great with a pair of jeans or khakis. I will definitely buy another pair when the time comes.

I have a pair of these that I purchased a couple of years ago, and they were always okay. Not great, as the fit always seemed a little off, but I couldn't figure out why. Strike one for comfort.

Well, I finally figured out why. I was in an airport in Germany and they x-rayed my shoes. The x-ray showed that there was a shank in only one shoe, and nothing in the other shoe. While we all had a good laugh, I also was pretty unhappy that this probably accounted for why they always felt different. Strike two for quality.

But the ultimate strike three was how bad Timberland's customer service was. I contacted them about the shoes, and they of course expressed their dismay and offered to allow me to pay to ship them back to them. Wait, why am I paying to ship a defective item back to Timberland. What a joke. I have owned more than 20 pairs of Timberlands, but given how they chose to treat a loyal customer when they produced such a poor product gives me no reason to purchase again (and don't get me started on how poor the quality of their clothing is). I think I will move on to Ecco or another brand of shoes that stands behind their product.

Timberland was once a symbol of quality. Now it is just living off a brand name which was trusted at one time.

I have owned many Timberland shoes. Generally, they are the best shoes in my closet - but these Classic Trekkers are not only my favorites, but they are "objects of my affection". I have worn out two other pairs - trekking all over Russia and Ukraine - and Alaska, and golly - Montana too! My wife generally dislikes the shoes and boots I have accumulated - except for the Trekkers - she thinks they are tough, rugged shoes, but with a stylish look that stands up over time. I can even wear them to church - AND tromp through puddles in the parking lot to fetch the car. Can't beat that!

I've had 2 pair of the same shoes in the past and they seemed to feel more comfortable than this pair. This pair does not appear to have the same cushioning in the insole and will probably need to be some inserts but otherwise I like them. I like the looks and how durable my other pairs were. I like the first pair so much that when they started to tear at one of the seams, I asked if Timberland could repair them. They replaced them with a new pair and I was sold on Timberland. The last pair of Timberlands I had were a different style and haven't been as durable. I hope Timberland hasn't started to take shortcuts in their quality and construction.

Love this boot. I work at a golf course and had a pair from the Timberland outlet 20 years ago that lasted through 2 golf course constructions and a year of wet every morning maintenance of a finished course and I see why they are still the same design. Only truly waterproof shoe/boot I've had in 15 years. "Proprietary waterproof membranes" never last and other GoreTex boots had design issues with the shoe itself. This is the best of both worlds. I went through just about every other boot brand looking for a cheaper option but I decided as a wiser adult that a 4 year pair at $130 was better than buying a $60-70 pair every 6-8 months. They are stylish enough to wear out casually as well if I wash off the mud. Sorry I waited so long. Will probably buy another pair as a backup.

I have owned several pairs of these shoes over the past 10 years. From walking in mud, snow or they are stylish enough to wear anywhere. If Timberland keeps making these shoes I will keep buying them,
