On a whim I decided to partonize a local shoe store to look at kitchen shoes. I happened upon Timberland professional shoes. They had my size, not the extra wide, but I tried anyway. They fit with room to spare. Six weeks later my feet don't hurt at the end of a long day. After a few days I realized my back did not hurt at all. As they are not vinyl, but leather, my feet stay nice and warm, too. Jump at the chance to get these shoes. They are simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
You will not slip in these shoes. I don't think I could make myself slip if I wanted. They have excellent traction. The leather has held up well. I wipe them off after leaving the hospital with an alcohol wipe (which I am sure is not recommended but given the germ alternative) and they still look good. I touch them up with shoe polish if I scuff them too much.
The brown pair is very nice and "dressy" looking. They feel like they have a higher arch than the white (but again I did wear the white for a long time) but still are extremely comfortable. All the same compliments as the white pair. I did get a drop of water on them and the "drop" spot is still there. Not terribly noticeable but it was my first day wearing them. As I said above, the toe area of the brown is more narrow than the white. It doesn't seem to feel different but it makes your foot look much smaller.Read more ›
Be aware when ordering that they do run a little big. I usually wear a 7.5 but based on other reviews I went down a half size and they fit perfectly.
