Timbuk2 has been especially influential in popularizing the messenger bag as an urban fashion accessory. Founded in 1989 by a San Francisco bicycle messenger with an old sewing machine, Timbuk2's goal was to make a messenger bag rugged enough for real bicycle messengers, yet stylish enough to appeal to a broader market of young, hip urbanites as an alternative to the traditional two-strap day pack. Our catchy name, three-panel design, distinctive swirl logo, and the fact that their products are made In San Francisco has added to Timbuk2's cachet. Our unwavering passion for designing and manufacturing functional, rugged, stylish bags has made Timbuk2 popular among the authentic bicycle messenger bag brands. Today, our three-panel, tri-color design is an icon on the streets of San Francisco, and a common sight in many other cities worldwide. The Bifold was a hot ticket in 2 5; pangs of nostalgia made us bring it back. It's slim profile was designed with your behind in mind and we constructed it out of a new tough ballistic nylon. So stuff your cash and go sit on you're a** because this wallet is durable! But throw your change in a fountain and make a wish cuz this baby don't carry coins.

Storage falls short compared to typical leather bifolds: 3 card slots, 1 ID window and a subdivided bill section. A wallet for light packers. Card slots were initially tight but loosened after a few days of use. However, slots are deep and the card "disappears" inside. Seep slots are more secure but fussy to pull cards when you're in a hurry. The bill section divider is great for separating benjamins from the georges! Best of all, this is a wallet you can hose down and scrub with a toothbrush if it gets dirty! Typical excellent Timbuk2 quality and a good deal, especially if on closeout.
I know this brand from those annoying rasta-colored messenger bags that young businesspeople carry on the subway. Whatever to that. The black-on-black is pretty discreet.
Pick one up. You can't go wrong.
While I wasn't immediately a fan of having only four card slots, I realized that I only use four cards on a regular basis so this is all I need. Plus, there's enough room in the slots to fit some extra cards if I really need to.
I've found that it is very difficult to find quality wallets online but after trying several others with poor results, I am finally satisfied with this one. I definitely recommend it.
*Its thin and made of good nylon material; allow smooth inserts into my pockets because of the smooth material
*There is 3 slots for cards and should be enough unless you are like my wife who carries 10+ cards
*great slick modern design
*2 cash pockets for seperations
I DON'T like
*the band which gets in the way; I have it in the inside so it only bothers me when I take out stuff from the license compartment
*The fold is too sharp not allowing any space for the bi-fold and makes the wallet open up even with minimal cash
I like this wallet and will use it for a long time. Beside the 2 negatives, I would recommend this to anyone.
Delivery time was excellent, 3 days across the country.
