About the Author
Danielle Bussone is a free-lance writer, certified wellness coach and avid cook. After discovering the healing powers of food, she became fascinated with creating dishes that were not only health-promoting but bursting with flavor. Danielle completed Cornell University’s certification program in plant-based nutrition, in conjunction with the T. Colin Campbell Foundation.
She and her husband Rich, co-founded Veggin’ Out And About!, a food and travel blog for plant-based diners. Danielle serves as a restaurant reviewer and writer for Veggin’ Out And About!, as well as editor for contributors from across the globe.
Danielle is currently working on several cookbooks of plant-based cuisines from the US and around the world. Danielle and Rich divide their time between SW Virginia and East Tennessee, where they live with two dogs and two cats, collectively known as their “Beloved Monsters.” In her spare time she writes fiction and is currently working on a Novel based in New Orleans.

The numerous suggestions for how to set up one's kitchen including equipment and foods is very useful to me and the type of information I need to make a plant-based transition seem less overwhelming.
The recipes I have tried so far have been easy and delicious and I am looking forward to trying many more.
Time For Change is ultimately a lifestyle book, explaining in clear and easy to read terms how to change to and maintain a whole food/plant based diet. But it is also a cookbook, with a rich array of healthy, tasty, easy-to-prepare dishes free from the processed ingredients that are conclusively linked to poor health. Now veganism (is that a word?) is a controversial concept, opposed by many, including those in the massive processed food industry. But Danielle does an excellent job in explaining the bio-chemical mechanisms associated with the physiological changes one can expect in becoming vegan. You often hear someone promoting a food product that is rich in some undefined substance, or other, that is instrumental in such and such an effect, but the what, hows and whys are never explained. So you either arbitrarily believe it, or not. This book offers a valid basis for its message. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their health and life.
Danielle shares her journey clearly with wit and humor. The story of her struggles and victory are eye opening and thought provoking. I don't believe you can read this book and continue without questioning what how you are taking care of yourself and loved ones. While I may not agree with everything in the book she has done her research and you can not dismiss the results following the guidelines in this book have made in Danielle's life.
I am looking forward to future books by her.
Danielle's discovery of a better way to nourish her body and subsequent recovery to vibrant health is a must read for everyone who wants to truly regain their health while also not sacrificing the taste and variety of foods that we all like to enjoy.
During the many months that Danielle researched and wrote this book my staff and I were fortunate enough to be her "taste testers" for many of the incredible recipes in this book. I can say without exaggeration that these dishes were some of the best meals I have ever tasted.
