Some of the skits in the story are funny. Some are boring and irrational. The battles take a long time until you get better gear. And a long battle means I feel sick from the camera work in this game. If you want to basically attack a few times, block, repeat for 5 minutes, then this is a game for you. There is little to no variety in the attack sequences and the opponents utilize the SAME sequence every time. So you just time around that, save up your energy bar, unleash a magic attack, and voila.
Fighting up close is a visual nightmare. The screen also shakes and blinks and the movements are unnatural with the camera's obsessed zoom level changes and viewpoint changes.
I cannot fix the camera perspective nor stop the camera from rapidly zooming in or out during battles. That camera nonsense makes this game unplayable for me. While the story is a laugh at times, I prefer having no headaches.
I've played games with rapid action sequences and not had this kind of physical distress. Rapidly changing the camera and blinking the screen with different colors ought to be classified as an assault on one's senses.
The story is alright and the aesthetics are elegant, but the constant posing and twitching during dialogue went from hilariously bad to annoying after a few hours.
The story and battle system is pretty simple but entertaining and the art of the game is pretty good, feels like playing an anime. I also truly enjoyed the music in the game. Overall, I had a good time and lots of fun playing this game!
Gameplay is simple and easy to master. Role playing game (RPG) veterans will have absolutely no issue picking up this title and running through it. Gamers not fond of RPG titles, or dialogue heavy games, should avoid this title.
Graphics are good and the art layer style is unique but definitely not an earth-shattering experience.
I like this game, but I would not include it on a list of my favorites.

As another review pointed out the prince acts like douchbag or a little perverted kid. Saving him being the main goal in the game takes away a lot from the plot, so much so that I never did finish it. I actually felt insulted as a female playing this game. The princess has awfully low standards, but in a way they deserve each other. I played this in the Japanese voices, as they matched the character's actions during scenes better. One of the girls in English had an ear-piercingly high voice that I couldn't stand, as well (though the Japanese voices weren't much better). Random battles took too long (about 15 min a piece) and given the fairly high encounter rate battles became tedious quickly.
I'll give two stars for the art and graphics because I did find those pretty. Everything else is a pass for me.
This is one of those games. I found the idea of one of your heroes having a split personality very unique as well.
Good graphics, good story, good gameplay, and all. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is that if anything it was just a little to easy and I didn't quite feel rewarded at the end of the game. I would still recommend this to anyone though.
