Wendy Stewart helps families and kids who want to lose weight, get fit, and be healthy. She also trains clients who need to improve their fitness to avoid diseases such as diabetes. She is a former high school business and computer teacher, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and former Naval Officer. She has experience with boxing, wrestling, judo, cheerleading, distance running, soccer, swimming, and dance. Her articles are published regularly on Livestrong.com, Associatedcontent.com, and eHow.com. Wendy began her interest in health and fitness as a year-round athlete in high school. After entering the Naval Academy in 1997, she was afforded the opportunity to learn even more about nutrition and performance. As a Naval Officer and teacher, Wendy was able to hone her skills as a life coach. Working for companies such as Victoria's Secret has given her the knowledge to help women look and feel their best. In 2007 and 2008 she had the privilege to be the assistant coach for an all-girl's swim team and head coach for a Pop Warner cheer squad. She formed her own personal training, coaching and writing business in 2008. As the company's principal trainer and consultant, she developed a desire to bring this nation, especially children, back from the obesity epidemic. Not only that, be she is deeply concerned with the esteem and confidence development of girls and women. A native of Baltimore, Wendy has traveled the country and the world, but loves the life of Charm City.
