Everyone loves Lonely Planet (so do I) but you should also give these guys a go. Their books are fantastic and very helpful. They are full of the regular background information on each city (this book is no different) and then the information you want for your travel begins. Here they talk about everything you will need to know to have a great time, and hopefully see everything you want. There is terrific coverage on Hotels, Tours, Restaurants and my personal favourite; Shopping. There is information on how to get from the airport to your hotel, directions to get from your hotel to the stores, from there to dinner and all the best places to catch a good Broadway show. I really think it worthwhile for you to check out these guides. This one, and my LA one are so handy to have around. I love them. I think they are just one notch better than Lonely Planet.
