About the Author
USA Today bestseller Micah Caida is the melding of two voices, two personalities and two minds of USA Today bestseller Mary Buckham and NYT bestseller Dianna Love, which often produces the strangest ideas. From this collaboration, Micah enjoys exploring how different characters react and deal with similar situations. Life is often filled with the unexpected – both good and bad. While creating the Red Moon series, Micah hit upon a very unusual “what if” that exploded into an epic story filled with teenagers who face impossible odds, but are the only ones who can save the world from itself. What I thought was just gonna be a quick simple 'mind cleanser' before I dive back into my usual genre has turned out to be a wonderful adventure I'm so glad I didn't miss . Kudos to the author Micah Caida. You're doing a masterful job so keep it up!!
A good middle story should "up" the ante, and Micah Caida does this with strength and panache. The stakes are so high that I can't wait to see how how our heroine is going to end this atrocity upon humanity and save herself... the hero... maybe even the world.
The characters are well developed and the story line is great. It is rather different from anything I have read to date but it eats easily and sadly quicker than you know are you done with it.
Keep them coming
One thing that may turn off some readers is so much mushy-gushy teen attraction - thought I would warn you. A few times I thought it might be overkill but realized it was also realistic & has a lot to do with how things play out...
So, looking for fast-paced adventure book, you've got it here. Time travel, magic, teens, corrupt government, and some romance...
Few times, I thought about "Lord of the Flies," but only as kids are running the place on the sphere (which you already know from book 1)
