My copy is not the one described, but it is even better! Published in 1993 (not June 1981), it also contains a 13-page Afterword: From Page to Stage, by W. Stuart McDowell, Ph. D., Chair and Artistic Director, Dept. of Theatre Arts, Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, July 1997. This extra-special edition totals 286 pages, not 341 pages as the description says, but every single page is important and riveting! In a 1999 poll conducted by the Ohioana Library Association, jointly with Toni Morrison, Allan W. Eckert was voted "Favorite Ohio Writer of All Time." This is one of the 39 books he authored along with 225 episodes of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
