About the Author

Frans Cronje is a scenario planner and the CEO of South Africa's leading policy think tank, the Institute of Race Relations (IRR). In 2007, he established its Centre for Risk Analysis, which advises company boards, strategic planning teams and policymakers on short, medium and longterm strategic decisions for South Africa. He has advised and presented scenarios to the bulk of South Africa's major foreign and domestic investors as well as government agencies and several foreign governments. His first book, A Time Traveller's Guide to Our Next Ten Years, was published in 2014. Cronje was educated at St John's College in Houghton and Wits University, and holds a PhD in scenario planning from NorthWest University. Prior to joining the IRR, he lived and worked in the United States of America and completed a yearlong expedition from Cape Town to Cairo. --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.
