An 82 year old widower hears a bump in the night – when he goes to investigate he finds a young woman, in his house, having a seizure. This may seem odd enough but it gets even stranger when she wakes up, asks for tea, then somehow transports them through a blurry section of his ceiling – several times in fact, before landing them in Flanders Field. Oh – and after realizing her new companion was aged, she helps make him young again.
Excited yet? This was a hysterical and riveting Time hoping adventure that will satisfy any sci-fi fan, and hit that sweet spot for any fan of BBC programming. How do you mix the perfect recipe for a Doctor’s Companion??
I found reading this book a breeze because it flowed naturally. It was funny how Tanya moved conveniently from one era to the next.
As James and Tanya continue to work together, Tanya discloses some secrets of time traveling to James.
The author adds a romantic twist to this story making the book even more unique. As love slowly sneaks up on them, there are decisions to be taken and sacrifices to be made. I think this is a good story; very entertaining. Those who are interested in this genre of books would love this one. It is gripping, vivid and compelling.
