I bought this book to use for my college Climatology course. It was useful to establish precipitation and temperature averages in locations around the globe. It would have been more useful if the yearly precipitation was totaled and there was an average annual temperature. These two averages were critical to classifying (Koeppen) the climates of the various locations. I liked that the book was organized into continents with a good variety of locations and good summaries.
