Stylish and unique low cost watch

I really like this watch. The size of the case is bigger than most which makes it look more unique than other "simple" watches like it. The band looks like it would catch on your wrist hairs but it does not - and I appreciate that! It's just flashy enough (and the face is big enough) to draw a bit of attention but not so big and flashy that it looks rediculous. It is a little loud but that's ok - I am driving most of the day. One of my favorite watches and get compliments on it.

UPDATE: just stopped working. Attempting warranty repairs.

Das grosse Zifferblatt ist zuerst mal etwas ungewohnt am Handgelenk, aber nicht störend.
Es trotz schwarzem Zifferblat durch die Indiglo-Beleuchtung auch im Dunkeln gut ablesbar.

Positiv:
- Das Metall-Mesh-Armband scheint für Verschmutzungen weniger anfällig zu sein, als ein dehnbahres Metallband (Metall-Flexband)
- Indiglo Ziffernblatt-Beleuchtung
- Armband lang genug auch für dickere Handgelenke
- Genau (Abweichung von unter 1 Minute nach 2 Monaten)

Negativ:
- Um das Schloss auf dem Armband zu verschieben ist Fingerspitzengefühln (beim Positionieren) und etwas Kraft (beim Einrasten) notwendig.
- Qualität des Einstellrads (Siehe Nachtrag unten)

Nachtrag 12.3.2014:
Leider ist "nur" das Gehäuse und das Armband aus Edelstahl. Beim "Stellrad" hat man auf Edelstahl verzichtet. Die Chromschicht ist inzwischen leider fast vollständig abgeblättert und das Einstellrad ist deutlich angerostet.
--> 1 Punkt abzug

Bin hier auf diese Uhr gestoßen.
US-Hersteller TIMEX ist ja bekannt für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Das wird hier wieder bestätigt.
Uhr bestellt-Uhr (schnell) erhalten-Uhr ausgepackt und SEHR ZUFRIEDEN.
Erst war ich ja etwas erschrocken, wegen der Größe der Uhr. Aber am Arm ist sie gar nicht so wuchtig.
Sie sieht einfach und doch elegant aus. Ohne Schnörkel, ohne Schnick-Schnack!
Sie macht das was sie soll-nämlich die Zeit anzeigen. Und das sogar genau!
Für diesen Preis einfach unschlagbar.
Sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Sterne dafür! (Am liebsten noch mehr als 5!)

Die fünf Sterne vergebe ich deshalb, weil die Uhr aufgrund der Beschreibung die an sie gestellten Erwartung voll erfüllt. Sie ist in der Ablesbarkeit sehr funktional. Die Beleuchtungsfunktion braucht man nicht wirklich. Außerdem wird sie wahrscheinlich bei häufiger Benutzung die Lebensdauer der Batterie reduzieren. Mit geübtem Auge bemerkt man den Unterschied des Messinggehäuses im Vergleich zum Edelstahl.Insgesamt ist die Uhr jedoch sehr sauber verarbeitet. Besonders das Armband hat mich überzeugt.
Wer die Uhr als Uhr und nicht als Statussymbol sieht, ist zu diesem Preis bestens bedient.
