It features a large, round watch case with a highly polished flat bezel that frames an old-fashioned dial, which includes Roman numeral markings and small minute indexes in black. It also features luminous hands (with seconds hand), a 10-year battery life, day and date function at 3 o'clock, and water resistance to 165 feet (50 meters). It's completed by a supple genuine leather band in brown with crocodile texturing.

The strap is extremely thick, and so must be "broken in," but is very attractive.
The INDIGLO is subtle (no searchlight this) but provides sufficient illumination.
The photograph is an accurate representation of the item - but for those concerned about size, be attentive to the photograph which lays out the dimensions of the watch, so as to avoid disappointment.
In short: a beautiful, multi-purpose, easily read, classical, if somewhat large watch.
Time (no pun intended) will tell if this product is reliable; if the battery truly has ten years of life in it; and how well the watch withstands everyday life and use.
Update (August 2015): The watch still looks good and operates well. And, no change of battery required thus far. However, I am on my third band, the other two having become discolored and rather shabby looking much too soon. The band is clearly not water-friendly (at least neither chlorine pool nor saltwater friendly!). The band is, as I've said, very handsome, and changing to a true waterproof band would somewhat ruin the appearance of the watch. At the time of writing, Timex charges $14 for a replacement band, with free shipping, to which some states will add tax. So, the band is currently half the cost of the purchase price of the watch!
I've owned this watch for nearly a year and worn it nearly every single day. I'm not particularly careful with it, but it looks and acts brand new. It keeps time well and shows almost no signs of wear; the only clue to its age is how perfectly the leather band has molded to my wrist.
The watch is comfortable to wear, goes with nearly every outfit I own, and is classy, yet understated. I often receive compliments on it, and people are shocked to discover it is a Timex when they look closer. It has all of the elegance and appeal of a much more expensive watch at a fraction of the price. I could not be more satisfied.
-I want to buy more, but this one won't break.
There are just a few minor things that keep it from being perfect.
The leather band is thick and very stiff. I have been wearing mine nearly every day for over a year now, and the band is only relaxed in the spot where the buckle sits. There were originally two loops to hold the loose end of the strap, and the sliding one fell off after about a month of use. I don't miss it and am not sure why it was there in the first place. The restraining loop that is fixed in place is still there and seems solid.
It is a leather band. It has darkened a bit from contact with my skin and is showing typical leather creases/cracks where it bends through the buckle. I don't expect it to last forever, and it will slowly change character with use. If I wanted it to stay looking new during years of use, I would have bought some other material. Instead, I love the way the leather looks and feels. The leather is wearing well, and I expect to get another year of use (or more) before I need to replace the band.
I would still probably give it a 5 star review, except that I am seeing a scattering of tiny rust spots on the back side of the watch. Although it is water resistant, I personally don't wear this watch while swimming or showering. I have a Coleman watch with a plastic body and a nylon band that I can use for diving. If I notice that my Timex has gotten wet, I will take it off and wipe it; mostly because I want the band to look nice as long as possible. The spots do not appear on the front or sides.Read more ›

I really like this watch. My only complaint is that the leather strap is very stiff and hard fit onto the shape of your hand, and it's difficult to put on.Published 1 month ago by Yaseen Ginnab
