By me on November 16, 2017
Years ago I was a Casio G-shock guy. They seemed bombproof and just amazing. Then after it finally died, I bought another one (really pricey one!) that within days was malfunctioning. So I returned it for another one...which also malfunctioned within days! :O All of my settings would just out-of-the-blue be scrambled to the wrong time, date, alarms gone, etc. It was as if the watches had done a factory reset on their own or something.
So that led me to the Timex Ironman. It was awesome! Eventually after I had cosmetically nearly destroyed one after years of abuse, I decided to get a new one. Literally within less than 48hrs, it did the same thing the Casio G-shocks did! It had reset itself to the year 2016, times were all wrong, etc. So I just now took it back and swapped it for a new one. My own conclusion is that both Casio and Timex have some quality issues. If you happen to get a good one, it will probably serve you extremely well for years to come! But it would be a good idea to keep the receipt for awhile until you've figured out that yours is one of the good ones.

Pros:
• Perfect Size for Working Out. Doesn't rub (and "BEEP") on the wrist band of my Weight lifting Gloves
• Has multiple Alarms to remind you to pick up your kids, take them to Gymnastics, etc. Very handy for Parents
• Great Indiglo Back Lighting that actually works
• 2 Time Zones easily Toggled with a big Gray Button on the front. Great for switching between Daylight Savings and Back again
• Battery lasts over 5 years
There really aren't any "Cons". It does exactly what I want a Watch to do. If you get a Warehouse Deal (they always have them) you can get one for 24 bucks with PRIME Shipping and the only thing wrong with it is the packaging is marred in some way. I also kind of like that it's an American company and I like that it's a Timex. It's a humble, reliable, hard working brand. I'm proud to wear it.
