Jon gives lots of behind the scenes information on the "Lassie" show and his costars, especially Tommy Rettig, my favorite. During his teen years, Jon became something of a rebel and a hippie, partying with all of Hollywood's young and famous. One episode involving Sal Mineo is particularly jaw-dropping.
His writing is cheerful, the pace is quick, and I couldn't put it down. There's a lot more here than just Jon's story; it's about early 50's television and its stars and brought back many happy memories for me. Absolutely recommended.
