Format: Paperback
This book is one of a very limited number on this short campaign that's a little known piece of Australian military history. It's a good sound account, not written to entertain but as a military history. The cover photo is from the Australian War Museum collection and was take on 9 December 1942, Timor - L/Sgt W Tomasetti 2/2 Independent Company leads creados and Timor ponies though the mountains of Timor.

Other books on the Timor 1942 campaign are:
Independent Company;: The 2/2 and 2/4 Australian Independent Companies in Portuguese Timor, 1941-1943
Campbell, A., The double reds of Timor JBMA, Swanbourne. [1995]
A HISTORY OF THE 2nd INDEPENDENT COMPANY AND 2/2 COMMANDO SQUADRON
