I'm not going to try to make up a different review for each of the Tinkyada products we've tried - because this fits all of them. These folks really have done the gluten free community a huge favor. And Amazon's prices are as good or better than anywhere else I've found this (once you figure shipping costs and possibly state/local sales taxes). Either buy something else to get your order up to $25 (free shipping), or just stock up on Tinkyada all by itself to get 25 pounds.
Also, don't forget about Amazon's subscription program for food - it lowers your cost an additional 15% and shipping is also free shipping.
Bottom line: nothing else in the gluten free pasta world equals Tinkyada, in my opinion as well as my wife's (and she doesn't even NEED to be gluten free).
I've also experimented with using uncooked lasagna noodles directly in the lasagna. When the lasagna is saucy, that works really well. The secret seems to be:
(1) Add about 1/3 cup of extra water around the edges.
(2) Make sure all of the noodles, including the top layer, are submerged in sauce.
(3) Cover with foil (and poke a couple of holes in the foil).
(4) Bake for at least 45 minutes.
The times I've done all four of these things, it has worked out perfectly. But one time the top layer of noodles wasn't submerged in sauce -- there was just cheesy stuff on top and some water -- and then the noodles rolled themselves up into long crunchy noodle tubes sitting on top of the filling, which was not very edible.
