Great novelty, completely operational and appears to be running the exact Galaxian arcade code. Pretty playable too despite the small size, but wouldn't recommend it for playing as the screen is very small and it would be difficult to operate over long periods of time, but as a novelty, something to put up on the shelf for display and occasional demonstration, it can't be beat. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to others.

I got this for my son for Christmas, but it never made it that long - it was too tempting, so it got opened and played incessantly. It's a huge hit with anyone who comes to visit, and at a recent party, it was passed around from person to person. Everyone wanted to play it!

It appears to be running the actual arcade ROM - gameplay, sounds, everything is exactly like the arcade game. Even the top lights up! It's cute, playable and fun. AND it comes with batteries included and installed! How many electronic devices come with batteries anymore?

This is a great (and tiny) rendition of Galaxian from the arcades of my youth. It's pretty small, but really playable if you've got decent eyesight. For me it's a great little desk decoration, but my smaller kids really enjoy toying with it every chance they get! One thing to note, this unit is surprisingly loud for it's size, and the audio seems like it has a small amount of distortion. It's nothing too distracting, but the volume can be startling when you're not expecting it. Overall it's been fun for the entire family!

This is a great gift for someone who loves the classics. The tiny (unlabeled) buttons are hard to play for an extended period, but (if you're like me,) you're unlikely to last too long anyway while playing Galaxian. The screen is very small and is not a pixel-to-pixel match, so it is granulated. However, I would still highly recommend this for the great price!

They are not the original arcade versions

Very nice, to collect, but the emulated games are not those of the original arcade versions.

More obvious factors:

Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, your character starts the game by moving to the right.
Frogger, the background music theme is not that of the arcade.
Pole Position, the car has a different shape than the arcade.
Tetris, this is simply another game totally different from the original.

If the original arcade versions had been emulated I would have given 5 stars.

I know I spent more money pumping quarters into Galaxian machines back in the '80s.

It is tiny and thus kind of hard to use the controls and even see the screen (if your eyes aren't as good as they were back in 1980 or so) but it works and it's fun and it's tiny.

I can't imagine actually using the keychain attached to the back. but that just adds to the charm. You could probably hang it from a Xmas tree as an ornament.

If you're looking for only one Tiny Arcade as a gift and want the best one, Galaxian is it. I'm not even a big fan of this game in real life, but the Tiny Aracade version is exceptionally good. Nice loud sound, fun action-packed game play, light up marque. Go for it.

FYI: Space Invaders is the 2nd best Tiny Arcade!
