non-GMO heirloom popcorn kernels
Stovetop: (A) heavy pot w/lid (B) 2-3 Tbsp oil or enough to thinly coat bottom of pot (C) set on Med/High with a few test kernels (D) when kernels pop, add more kernels on bottom of pot ~ don't overcrowd! (E) cover and heat with little to no shaking (F) once popping vigorously, shake pot occasionally but not excessively ~ enough oil and a heavy pot will prevent burning (G) once 2-3 seconds between pops, remove from heat and transfer to bowl.
