Toward the end, they got into the ghosts and goblins and ghouls goofiness that some seem to find so fascinating, myself excluded.
Those, I skipped entirely, but the rest were truly great, I thought. Short enough to read during a commercial break? Inspired.
No background clutter, no mindless, endless details, no ongoing narratives. Just get to the point, here it is, romance. I loved it.
The exceptions I didn't like are:
I didn't enjoy New Year's Magic, Snowflake or Haintsgiving. Snow and Ghosts and In Which Miss Gardella etc. both made me feel as if I walked into a discussion without enough info.
Giving Thanks and A Holiday Miracle both seemed sterile to me. There was too little interaction between the main characters.
I didn't read Zombie of Good Cheer. I never read about zombies as I'm find the concept inane.
I hope you read this book as it is a winner and a keeper.
