I had many clients coming to me who has began to trip and or has falling down. They have lost their spatial awareness. This is the awareness to where their body is in space. For example when walking and having to step over an object on the ground and not clearing the object with the foot step either in the height of the step or the distance of clearing the object.  This can be relearned again. I live where there are beautiful hiking trails in the forest and many seniors have come to me who enjoy their walking paths in nature, but they had begun tripping and/or falling on the tree roots on the trails. This book is filled with knowledge and exercise to help rebuild the spatial awareness and balancing system in the body so one can feel safe in movements again and continue to enjoy activities again. This is an excellent "Fall Prevention Book", (Guide) and works wonderfully with those in stroke recovery and other balance and stability weakness and challenges. --This text refers to the paperback edition.
