I can't imagine a better way to teach children than to teach them in this fun delightful way. I particularly enjoyed the poetic format with its rhythm and rhyme. It was truly fun to read and right up there equal in entertainment with some of the Dr. Seuss books. I hope we will see more of the same from Dicy McCullough.

I just finished reading Tired Of My Bath, Tired of School, Tired of Being a Bully and Tired of Being Different. I plan on reading them to my grandchildren who I'm sure will love them with the rhyming and sweet stories. they might not even realize the good messages that are being taught since it's done in a fun way. thank you, Dicy McCullough.

I had a blast reading the book. Skipping a bath at night is something young readers can relate to. The author uses simple words that young readers can understand and the fonts are easier to read. The presence of the dog adds humor to the story. I will recommend this book to my friends.

I purchased this book for my son's first birthday. He absolutely LOVES it and what a great story to read at bedtime as a family! Dicy McCullough did a wonderful job writing this engaging story geared towards young children. I can not wait to read and share more stories from this author.

"Read it again, read it again, read it again!" This is what my first graders say when I read any of Dicy McCullough's books. The children love that the stories are based on the author's grandchild's life. The students in my class can relate to the adventures of the characters in the book. They just can't get enough of my reading them aloud to them, and I can't either! Highly recommend them to parents and teachers alike!

Dicy McCullough has three adorable books, but "Tired of MY Bath" is by far my favorite. I happen to have a child that is still young enough to hate taking baths and brushing her teeth just like John Allen. She constantly begs to postpone bathing time, but once she is in the shower or tub she doesn't want to get out. I think this rhyming verse of how John Allen decides mom knows best about bathing is a perfect read for all you parents with reluctant bathers of your own!

Dicy McCullough's series Tired of ... are perfect books to read to children! They love the rhyming pattern, vivid illustrations, and John Allen! These three books are wonderful additions to any home, classroom, or school library as children can relate to John Allen in each of the books. Dicy is a wonderful author and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her work!

Dicy McCullough has improved with her subsequent book to "Tired of School." "Tired of My Bath" gives us such a great moment with John Allen as he fights his mom about taking a bath and what happens when she gives in. Kids will chuckle at the icky comments and that fact that Louie crawled under the bed to get away from the smell. Charming. Keep them coming, Dicy.
