This is a perfect little book to get you in the spirit of Christmas. It had me singing Christmas carols and smelling gingerbread and pine needles in the air! I am new to all but one of these authors, and I can promise you they all deliver! Each story flew by, all very romantic, sweet and whimsical, some of them even a little suspenseful! Each one was a page turner, and now I am sad they have all been read, but I am planning to read them all again, this time under my Christmas tree!
Nick by DF Jones - A Christmas Fantasy makes you long for your childhood years when you believed in Santa Claus. But then again, maybe he is real!
It’s a Wonderful Life by Allie Marie - is a modern age remake of the original, but with author Allie Marie’s humor and special knack for romance and mystery!
Christmas Kiss by Laura Haley-McNeil - draws you in and makes you think about what is important in life, love being the most important real estate of all
Poinsettia by Ana Morgan - is as romantic as the season is beautiful, filled with the colorful flowers of the season.
Picture Perfect by Laura Ann will make you laugh out loud, knowing that love always wins in the end.
A Medieval Christmas by Lane McFarland - brings back the real reason for the season, a love for all.

Really good sweet romances

This was such a good book. If you are looking for something with sweet romance in it, then this is the book that you need. I had read two of the authors before but the other four were new to me so I didn’t know what to expect. They all proved to be worthy of this holiday book.
Nick: A Christmas Fantasy by DF Jones gives us an interesting story about Nick, who just happens to be the son of Santa Claus. He needs to find his Mrs. Claus before his father retires. This was so good and kind of scary when it looks like the gift of giving is almost over with. Great storyline.
It’s a Wonderful Life After All by Allie Marie has Clara Bell D’Angelo trying to earn her wings. This is her 2nd chance and nobody gets a 3rd chance. I was on the edge of my seat as she went through everything she had to do. The way the book starts out doesn’t give Mary and George much of a chance of getting together. This carried me back to the beautiful Christmas story of It’s a Wonderful Life.
Christmas Kiss by Laura Haley-McNeil starts with us meeting Vera as she decorates her grandmother’s house. Then we meet Darroch, who thinks he’s been left her grandmother’s house in the will. This had me in tears at one point. I had never read anything by this author but I’m glad to say that she wrote a really good story and I will be getting more of her books.
Poinsettias by Ana Morgan is a 2nd chance romance and was so very good. Neely has left her job in New York to help her dad after he has surgery. She meets up with Justin, her high school love. The tension between them isn’t good but she is there to help with her father’s nursery and floral shop. Then something tragic happens and Neely and Justin have to work together. This was such a great story.
Picture Perfect Christmas by Laura Ann introduces us to Nixon who is in love with his old friend, Emma. He’s going to give it one more shot and then he’s done. I laughed at the way he was going to do this and wished him all the luck in the world. His desperate try is so funny. You definitely need to read this story and find out what he did.
A Medieval Christmas by Lane McFarland is a really good historical set back in Scotland back in 1303. We meet Morna whose brother is determined to have her married to someone who can help their clan. But she meets up Kendrick, who is just a Captain in the Clan. The things these two go through and then to have her brother refuse because he was just a Captain and not Laird. I got so mad! The chemistry between these two will have you either cussing her brother, trying to throw the book against the wall or doing both!
I loved these stories! So go get the book and you’ll love them, too.

Each one of these stories is utterly romantic, delightfully charming, and as delicious as a candy cane. Clean holiday fun! Although I didn’t want any of them to end, they did so in very romantic and satisfying ways. Each one made me believe in Christmas magic all over again!

I was already following authors Ana Morgan and Lane McFarland, and I purchased this anthology the moment I received an email saying it was available for preorder. Although I was *trying* to wait patiently until it was released, when I saw there was an ARC available, I jumped at the chance to read it early. And since I did, I must say: I received 'Tis the Season: Sweet Romance Novelettes as an ARC for an honest review.

I’m so glad I bought a copy as well, because I’ll be re-reading these stories for many years to come whenever I want to get into the holiday spirit!

Without a doubt, I’ve found a few new authors whose other books I must check out!

Jones and Allie Marie stand out in my mind as having fun surprise endings I didn’t see coming. Around the bustling holiday season, short stories are great because they can be read separately as time permits. I love happy ever after stories and these are some of the best.

You will read and re-read this wonderful holiday romance collection. I will be adding this to my annual Christmas reading. Each Story brings the different writing styles of the Authors, But the ones by Allie Marie and D. F. Jones, I really enjoyed, they were full of surprises and kept me intrigued until the end! My favorite time of year is Christmas time and I love sweet short stories, so you can grab and read them anytime you get a few minutes out your busy holiday! I like finding new authors and this gave me 3 new ones that I will add to my list to follow.

These stories are so individually unique and entertaining! The diversity is wide and wonderful--from present day to medieval Scotland. The author’s voices are distinctive and the stories heartfelt. The sweet and wholesomeness will warm your heart and provide a satisfying happily ever after.

I am a fan of Lane McFarland and have read all her books and recently began following Ana Morgan also. These stories of theirs are simply wonderful and it was a joy to read the other writers as well. Great treat to start the holiday season!
