I like all the songs, especially the Joy to the World medley, The Christmas Song, Merry Christmas Baby (hard rock beat), Frosty the Snowman (has the band's beat), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (the newness, and the strings at the end before it blends into the next song), Blue Christmas, What Are You Doing New Year's Eve, and White Christmas. I have listened to it during the holiday season and will occasionally listen to it while working or traveling. This helps me build the complete collection.

I was really looking forward to this CD, but was not overwhelmed by it. Frankie's vocals are overshadowed and drowned out by the mostly programmed instrumentals and backing vocals. Some of the selections are a little too mellow. It was worth the try, but you are better served and will be more entertained with The Four Season's Christmas Album from the 60's.

This is a fantastic album. The arrangements are excellent. I only wish the mixer would have brought more of Frankie's legendary voice to the forefront as it seems buried by the music and the background, and I often find myself straining to hear it.

82 years old and still making records! Not only that, but still making superb records. Startlingly great arrangements, brilliant musicianship and Frankie sounding far, far better than anyone could have hoped for. Maybe not the raw power in that voice that we had even up to ten years ago, but superb delivery and skill makes for some great music. Merry Christmas Baby could make a surprise No 1 single if ever released as such and there are some gorgeous other highlights. A personal favourite is What Are You Doing New Year's Eve, but there's only one track on the whole CD that doesn't send a tingle through the air. Ironically, Frosty the Snowman I don't like at all, but that tune just won't go away......

A million miles and years away from the 1962 Four Seasons Christmas Album, but arguably by far the better record musically.

Credit Frankie for attempting something like this in his ninth decade. A couple of pleasant tracks (White Christmas and What Are You Doing New Year's Eve) but there's little remotely festive here. Merry Christmas Baby is dreary; Blue Christmas is truly bleak. Frankie has contributed massively to popular music down the years and remains a true legend of the industry. But I fear only the die-hard fans will give this one a second hearing.
